About

The world we’re living in, is mainly visual dominated. Internet and TV produce millions of pictures each second, the world outside changes its face faster and faster.
But what about the sounds, that surround us? Most of them are treated like background noise, not as important as their physical source, they arise from. However, the sound of a passing car is as real as the car itself.

With Monday Sounds, I want to put the audible world in the front of the perception.
Each monday, I’m going to upload one special sound from the “real-world”. I’m searching for sonic snippets, that seem worth listening to. If you like what you hear, feel free to download the sounds in the week of their appearance!

„When a Wednesday starts off by sounding like a Sunday, you know there is something seriously wrong.“ (John Wyndham: The Day of the Triffids, 1951)
